Mire Lee (b. 1988, Seoul; lives and works in Amsterdam) received a BFA from Seoul National University (2012). Selected solo and two-person exhibitions have been held at Tate Modern, London (2024); New Museum, New York (2023); Zollamt, Museum für Moderne Kunst, Frankfurt (2023); and Schinkel Pavillon, Berlin (2021). Selected group exhibitions have been held at 12th SITE Sante Fe International (2025); 58th Carnegie International, Pittsburgh (2022); Busan Biennale (2022); and 59th Venice Biennale (2022). Lee has participated in residencies at Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten, Amsterdam (2018). Lee is represented by Antenna Space, Shanghai; Sprüth Magers, Berlin, London, Los Angeles, New York; and Tina Kim Gallery, New York.
Lee’s work is in the collections of Centre Pompidou-Metz; Leeum Museum of Art, Seoul; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; M+, Hong Kong; National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; and Seoul Museum of Art.
